9-Year-Old Bags 23 lb. 11 oz. Gobbler
Chase Sailer killed a 23 lb. 11 oz. gobbler during the fifth and final season of turkey hunting in White County. Chris Crow, outfitter and guide of Skillet Fork Outfitters Inc. guided Chase on this, his first ever-hunting experience. The bird had an 11-inch beard and 1.25 inch spurs.
